User Management
Manage system users who can log in to your Elate HRMS workspace.
System Users
The User Management page shows:
- Total Users — All user accounts
- Active — Users who can log in
- Pending — Users who haven’t set up their password yet
- Inactive — Deactivated accounts
User Properties
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| User | Name and email address |
| Employee ID | Linked employee record (if applicable) |
| Department | User’s department |
| Role | Super Admin, HR Admin, Manager, or Employee |
| Location | Assigned work location |
Adding a User
- Click + Add New User
- Enter user details:
- Full name
- Email address (used for login)
- Role assignment
- Optionally link to an employee record
- The user receives a setup email to create their password
User Roles
| Role | Access Level |
|---|---|
| Super Admin | Full system access, billing, all modules |
| HR Admin | HR operations, all modules (no billing) |
| Manager | Team management, limited modules |
| Employee | Self-service only (own profile, leave, attendance) |

Managing Users
From the user list, use the action menu (…) to:
- Edit user details
- Change role
- Deactivate account
- Resend setup email
