Leave Configuration
Set up leave types, policies, and periods for your organization.
Leave Types
Navigate to Configuration & Setup → Leave Management to configure leave types.
Creating a Leave Type
- Click Add Leave Type
- Configure:
- Name — Leave type name (Annual Leave, Sick Leave, etc.)
- Max Days Per Year — Maximum allocation per period
- Is Leave Without Pay — Whether this is an unpaid leave type
- Save the leave type
Leave Policies
Policies bundle leave types with allocation rules:
- Create a leave policy
- Add leave types with their allocation amounts
- Set carry-forward rules
- Assign the policy to employees or departments
Leave Periods
Define your leave year:
- Set start and end dates
- Allocations are calculated within these periods
- Multiple periods can exist for historical tracking
Holiday Lists
Configure public and company holidays:
- Navigate to holiday configuration
- Add holidays with:
- Holiday name
- Date
- Type (public, company-specific)
- Holidays affect attendance and leave calculations
